Pennsylvania Digital Library Collection Guidelines Project

Purpose of this workspace

The goal of this wiki is to create a workspace for administrators of the LSTA grant-funded project to develop collection guidelines for the Pennsylvania Digital Library Project. When complete, these guidelines will outline a plan for the development of digital collections "for, by, and about" the history, society, and culture of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

This grant is jointly administered by the following library organizations:

• PALCI, the Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium, Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh

• PALINET, a regional library network serving institutions in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and West Virginia, headquartered in Philadelphia

• State Library of Pennsylvania, a division of the Office of Commonwealth Libraries under the Pennsylvania Department of Education, headquartered in Harrisburg
